Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. Polls open at 7:00am and close at 8:00pm.
Some reminders:
If you have NOT voted since the last Presidential Election, you are likely no longer registered and will need to RE-REGISTER. Please check myvote.wi.gov to check your registration status ahead of time.
Yes, you can register on Election Day. Just keep in mind that you might be in line for awhile so plan ahead.
Some other things to help you prepare:
If your Driver’s License has your current address, that is ALL you need to register.
If your address is different than your Driver’s License, you must provide proof of residence. Some examples:
Utility Bill (phone, electric
Bank or Credit Card Statement
Real Estate Tax Bill
Residential Lease
Paystub
Tribal ID or other Govrenment ID
Once you are registered, you will need to provide Proof of Identity to VOTE. (Photo ID)
Examples of Photo ID:
WI Driver’s License or ID (paper copy from DMV is acceptable) Must be unexpired or expired AFTER Nov 2022
Tribal ID
US Passport
Uniformed Services/Veteran’s Affairs ID
